A closure system looks simple on the shelf. The manufacturing chain behind it is not. For both of our product families, VANTEC controls the full process — from raw polymer to finished, slit roll — on equipment we designed and built ourselves.

Hook fasteners — 100% in-house
Every step of the hook fastener is made by VANTEC on self-built equipment:
- Polymer compounding & modification — we design the resin blends that give the hook its supple, soft hand-feel.
- Forming — precision hook geometry is shaped in-house, tuned for softness without losing engagement.
- Surface treatment — micro-textured, low-friction surfaces are engineered on our own lines.
- Slitting — finished rolls are slit to exact width and wound under our own process control.
Nothing is outsourced at the material or process level — a capability we keep advancing through our strategic partnership with Aplix (since 2023).
Disposal tapes — 100% in-house
The disposal tape chain is owned end to end:
- CPP film forming — the backing film is cast in-house, with extensibility tuned for a clean wrap.
- Release — release behavior is controlled on our own line.
- Hotmelt PSA formulation — the adhesive chemistry is developed and compounded by VANTEC.
- Coating — the PSA is coated and married to the CPP film under our process control.
- Slitting & rewinding — finished reels are slit and rewound to specification, in-house.
